Reach Out EarlyContact the artist before the convention to secure a spot. Convention schedules fill up quickly. 3. Provide DetailsShare your tattoo idea, size, placement, style references, and any budget considerations when reaching out. 4. Pay a DepositMost artists require a deposit to hold your spot. This is usually non-refundable and goes toward your tattoo. 5. Prepare for the DayBring ID, stay hydrated, eat beforehand, and wear clothing that makes the area easy to access. 6.
